SOLVED -The Mysterious Island- SOLVED
It is no secret that the Dam has an inaccessible island on the other side of the lake. But was this island meant to be just for scenery? I have
received rumors that an extra objective was on the other side, and a large ammo cache was on the island, among other things (OddJob, for
instance). Assisted with Gamesharks players are now able to reach the island, and it seems that there is not only a tower, but an inactive
drone gun as well. The island was meant to be accessed by boat.
NEW -INFO ON THE ISLAND- NEW
There are new pictures located in the Beta section, which I got from ign64.com. Apparently, the solitary island is just that...a solitary
island. There's nothing there, except a strage drone gun, and a tower. You can get there like I did VIA Gameshark.
-The Corridor in the Silo-
At the beginning of the Launch Silo, if you are to turn around and look down, you will notice a "hallway" of sorts, covered by a steel grate.
Rumors for this include launching the missiles, killing Ouromov, and others. I am well aware that you cannot kill Ouromov, (He has to be
alive for the Train) but what is his Briefcase for? The key, I'm told, is a master keycard so he can wander throughout the Silo. I have also
received information that on the back of the Goldeneye box, is a picture of the Silo, and an elevator is visible. Was this used with the
briefcase? I no longer have the box, unfortunately.
-The Cradle Briefing-
With every mission, you receive a "briefing" where assorted members of MI6 give you information necessary for completion of your tasks.
The Cradle, however, has an extremely odd briefing. On the very first screen, (Background) it tells James of Trevelyan's personal
bodyguard, which is odd, because Ouromov and Xenia are already dead. It couldn't be Jaws, he was never in the movie.
SOLVED -Samedi's Death- SOLVED
If you've already defeated the Egyptian Temple, you have killed Baron Samedi, right? Wrong. For those of you with the patience to wait and
watch the final cinema, you will see Bond walk down the hallway, and then the Baron runs behind him, and laughs. Is there a way to finish
Baron Samedi once and for all? YES! Just right before the missson is SOLVED, Turn on Domino for the game control. THEN YOU CAN SHOOT HIMIN THE END SCENE.
SOLVED -Extra Rooms In The Frigate- SOLVED
In the frigate, several stairways are present, which can be used for the "Tiny Bond Floats" glitch. (for more info, go to glitches section)
Inside the frigate, there is a set of stairs where the glitch can be used. If one is to keep floating past the wall, all that is visible is water, and
then a door pops up. The strange thing is, you can shoot the door, and even open it! Walk through, turn right, and another door is found.
You cannot approach this door however, you end up falling to the floor below. Shoot this door to mark it, fall, and you cannot locate it outside
of this trick. Perhaps another objective was located here? In the briefing, Xenia is mentioned, and maybe she was in this room?
NEW -INFO ON THE HIDDEN ROOM- NEW
Well, I can't believe nobody noticed this right away (including me). Have infinite ammo and all guns turned on, do the glitch, and when you
reach the first door, stick a mine to it. Open it, and do the same to the far door. Now, hit R and drop to the bottom floor. Go back up the
stairs, and out the door to your right. You should be outside, on the deck. Go to the door, opposite you, and open it. You should now be on
the bridge. Go across, to the other side of the bridge, and open the door. Again, you should be outside. Walk down the stairs and up the
other set, and open the door. Stop. Now look at the door frame right in front of you, and detonate your mine. There is no explosion, just
particles flying everywhere. The doors were actually just taken out. I haven't the slightest idea why, but there's no hidden room here.
Look for Xenia somewhere else.
-The Citadel-
Using a Gameshark code, one can access a glitch that replaces text in a certain multiplayer option with text found elsewhere in the game.
Replacements include Moneypenny, erase file, etc. Of these selections, you can also choose level stages. One particularily curious level is
known as The Citadel. No one has ever seen or accessed this "Citadel". Does it even exist?
NEW -INFO ON THE CITADEL- NEW
I explained the mystery of the Citadel to one of my friends, and he is a very big James Bond fan and claims "Citadel" was mentioned in one of the old James Bond movies, and he also claims that it is said to mean "Cradle" in some language. Now i don't really believe him,but he also says that it might be that the GameShark code that could change multiplayer text that also chages the multiplayer levels might be making Citadel optional as a multiplayer level, but all it really might be doing is the making "The Cradle" optional as a multiplayer level. I think it's probably false, but i thought this infomation might be as some help to you in solving that mystery.
SOLVED- Citadel=Cradle? NO,Actually the Citadel is really (WHEN YOU ENTER IN THE CORRECT SHARK CODE) is just basically, THE DAMN BUNKER! -SOLVED
-The Beakers-
This mystery involves the Facility. Go to the green hallway (the one with the small turn near the beginning),
and position yourself right at the bend. Look up, and you'll see two vents, crossing over one another. On the vent facing the direction of the
hall, zoom in, and you'll see a set of beakers just like the others found in the Facility...
NEW -Ouromov's Briefcase- NEW
If you're lucky, you can actually make Ouromov drop his briefcase in the silo. Along with a "key", these two items have
(as far as I can see) no use. Some believe (ahem) OddJob lives in Ouromov's breifcase, and he'll pop out when you blow it open. Don't keep
your hopes up for that one, folks. I've heard of an extra objective in the Silo, which was taken out (wow) due to memory constraints, time
limitations, Nazis, whatever. But there is another thing that Rare missed - enter the silo with
the Golden Gun ( I think you need it, I'm not sure, and I don't feel like checking) and in one of the rooms with a rocket in it
(you know, the big round rooms) cycle backwards throough your weapons for a while and look up. (I think it's when you
put your PP7 away) The roof opens!!! Take it out again, and the roof closes!!! WHHAAOAOAOA!!!? What's up with that, eh? Soooooo,
apparently Rare forgot another thing to take out (what a surprise) and now we're left to drool over a half-complete objective.
A recent issue of a video game magazine revealed a cheat for Goldeneye, in which the player could choose which Bond to use in Multiplayer. Lazenby, Connery, Moore, and Dalton were selectable, and included was a screen shot of the four on the character selection screen. It was later discovered that this was an April fool's joke, and was dismissed. But still, many gamers insist that they have done the trick and used all four Bonds. Even the manual has a picture of the multiplayer stage, with what appears to be Sean Connery, in a white Tux. (P. 20) Rare once again states that it was an option in the Beta version of Goldeneye, but was removed for one reason or another. Still, gamers swear up and down that it is possible. Go to the Aztec level with enemy health at 200% and everything else at 100% and beat it under nine minutes. Good luck.
These images were taken from the source of the All Bonds mystery, a video game magazine. It was published in their April issue, and the magazine has been known to publish false codes on April Fool's. I now have proof that the "All Bonds" code listed above, is a hoax. It was in the Beta version, but was deleted due to memory resraints.
